First Class Driving
Lecture classes are available online or can be attended in the branch in a separate lecture room
Practical driving location can be chosen by the student per his / her convenience
- The candidate can maximize his / her driving hours to speed up the driving classes per his / her flexibility and can be done at the chosen location.
- Training is given in luxurious vehicle such as Mercedes and range rover.
RTA and Belhasa’s test will be conducted on student’s chosen location and to be matched within RTA map
- The tests are conducted in the same location where the training is done so the candidates are familiar with the area.
- The candidate doesn’t need to visit the branch for the tests. Examiners (Belhasa or RTA) will go with the instructor to the chosen location for the tests. delivery of license and passing certificate (Except for the knowledge test).
- A candidate doesn’t have to be physically present to collect their license. Belhasa will deliver per their requested location.
A private room is provided upon a visit to the branch. A VIP lounge is provided with amenities such as refreshments and a comfortable ambiance.

Driving License Application – Required Documents
Mandatory Documents
- Original Emirates ID
- Eye test report (before RTA file opening). The eye test is available at the BDC main branches or RTA-approved eye test centers in Dubai.
- Original Home Country driving license issued from other countries of the same vehicle category (if any)*:
- Valid driving licenses are acceptable.
- If your driving license is not issued in English or Arabic, please legally translate your driving license from a legal translation typing office in Dubai.
- For a lost driving license, please seek a letter from the consulate of your country and a clear color copy of Home Country Driving License.
*Subject to RTA approval. If the driving license is denied by the RTA, please seek a letter from the embassy of your country.
Emirati Passport Holder (Son of Emirati Woman)
- Valid Passport copy
- Valid letter from the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs stating that the customer's mother is Emirati
File Transfer from Other Institutes in Dubai
- Clearance letter from previous Emirates (signed & stamped)
File Transfer from Other Emirates to Dubai
- Clearance letter from previous Emirates (signed & stamped)
- Last Road Test Results Form
Driver Visa Holders
Medical fitness reports from RTA-approved medical centers or hospitals.
File Opening Process for Other Emirates
Mandatory documents required for applicants
Personal or Family-Sponsored Visa (Currently Residing in Dubai)
- Original and valid Emirates ID
- Valid tenancy contract (Ejari)
- Eye test report (after RTA approval for File Opening)
- Declaration letter from the school or university (if the applicant is a student under university visa in Dubai)
- NOC for professional help (e.g. housemaid, nanny, driver)*
*Not required in case the declaration letter is available. Subject to RTA approval.
Company-Sponsored Visa
Situation 1: Company has a branch in Dubai & currently residing in Dubai:
- Original and valid Emirates ID
- Copy of valid trade license of the Dubai & Other Emirates of the company. The company name must match the name on the trade license.
- NOC to mention that the applicant is working in the Dubai branch of the company.
- Eye test (after RTA approval for File Opening)
Situation 2: Company does not have a branch in Dubai & currently residing in Dubai:
- Original and valid Emirates ID
- Valid tenancy contract (Ejari) under Student / Family member name
- Eye test report (after RTA approval for File Opening)
Golden Visa (Direct Test Applicant)
- Emirates ID
- Original valid home country license
Diplomats – Passport/Card Holders (Non-License Holders)
- Copy of the diplomatic passport
- Copy of valid Residence Visa
- Original Emirates ID (if any)
- A copy of the valid diplomatic card for embassies, consulates, and international organizations instead of the Emirates ID
- A copy of a letter from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs valid for at least 6 months from the date of submission

- Students can opt to register for either Automatic or Manual gear. However, please note that Automatic license holders are not allowed to drive a Manual gear vehicle.
- Those who have a valid UAE Driving license from any Emirate other than Dubai need to get their driving file transferred from the other-emirate to Dubai RTA before opening a file for any other vehicle category.
