Mandatory Documents

1. Original Emirates ID
2. A copy of a Passport copy FOR unified number
3. Eye test report (before RTA file opening). The eye test is available at the BDC main branches or RTA-approved eye test centers in Dubai.
4. Original Home Country- driving license issued from other countries of the same vehicle category (if any)*:
   1. A valid driving licenses are acceptable.
   2. If your driving license is not issued in English or Arabic, please legally translate your driving license from a legal translation typing office in Dubai. 
   3. For a lost driving license, please seek a letter from the consulate of your country and a clear color copy of Home Country Driving License.

*Subject to RTA approval. If the driving license is denied by the RTA, please seek a letter from the embassy of your country. 

Additional Documents

Female customers (younger than 21 years) who wish to take training by a male instructor: (Fee is applicable)

UAE Marsoom

1. Valid and original marsoom letter Addressed to RTA
2. Valid and original passport 
3. Eye test report

People of Determination:

1. A letter issued from driving institute from RTA Dept.( Fee is applicable) to collect original medical report issued from Rashid Hospital (maximum of two years validity)
2. Sanad Card from Community Development Authority (optional)

Sanad card required to get discount on RTA charge

Pregnant women:

1. A no-objection letter signed by the sponsor or herself
2. ‘Fit to Drive’ certificate issued by the consulting doctor.

File transfer from other institutes within Dubai:

1. Clearance letter from the previous driving institute signed and stamped by an authorized signatory.
2. Valid or invalid RTA learning permit (not applicable for other emirates).(no need to mention it)
3. Last road test result  in case reached road test (applicable only from other Emirates)

Driver visa holders:

1. Medical fitness reports from RTA-approved medical centers or hospitals.

FILE OPENING PROCESS FOR OTHER-EMIRATES
Mandatory documents required for applicants

1. On personal or family-sponsored visa currently residing in Dubai:
   • Valid passport copy & visa copy of the sponsor & applicant
   • Original and valid Emirates ID
   • Valid tenancy contract (Ejari) & electricity bill from DEWA*
   • Eye test report (After approval)
   • Declaration letter from the school or university (if the applicant is a student Under university visa in Dubai)
   • NOC for professional help (e.g. housemaid, nanny, driver)
     *not required in case the declaration letter is available 

*Subject to RTA approval

1. On a company-sponsored visa:
   • Situation 1: Company has a branch in Dubai & currently residing in Dubai:

1. Valid passport copy & visa copy of the applicant
2. Original and valid Emirates ID
3. Copy of valid trade license of the Dubai & Other Emirates of the company. The company name must match the name on the trade license.
4. NOC to mention that the applicant is working in the Dubai branch of the company.
5. Eye test (After approval) 

1. • Situation 2: Company does not have a branch in Dubai & currently residing in Dubai:
     (e.g. Applicants on visa from other emirates do not have a branch & currently residing in Dubai)

1. Valid passport copy & visa copy of the sponsor & applicant
2. Original and valid Emirates ID
3. Valid tenancy contract (Ejari) & Under title deed- electricity bill from DEWA
4. Eye test report (After approval)

Gate Pass:

To apply for Gate Pass, kindly send us attachments meeting the following criteria in JPG/JPEG file format with a limit size of 500kb each.

Gate Pass is valid minimum for 2 months and applicable ONLY for those students who are not holding JAFZA visa.
